Paul is the founding partner of Unity Financial Partners, the first directly licensed financial planning firm to establish a dedicated and bespoke service in Italy for expatriates, diplomats and internationally mobile professionals back in 2010.

Paul holds The European Financial Adviser and ESG Adviser qualifications through the European Financial Planning Association, as well as UK and International financial planning certifications through The UK Chartered Insurance Institute. He is also an IVASS Italy authorised and regulated broker. Paul leads our client strategy, helping individuals and families build clear, measurable financial plans and long-term wealth management solutions based on trust, transparency and expert guidance.

Marco is a Certified Public Accountant and Registered Auditor with deep experience in Italian tax planning, corporate structuring and compliance. He supports individuals and businesses with incorporation, extraordinary transactions, corporate restructuring and business recovery procedures. His expertise includes budgeting, business plans, financial statement analysis, legal auditing, tax due diligence, ongoing book keeping and full civil and fiscal compliance. Marco also advises on national and international tax planning, real estate taxation and corporate structuring to help optimise financial outcomes for clients operating in Italy.

Marco holds a masters degree in corporate governance and management as well as a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Piers is a specialist lawyer advising international private clients on cross-border estate, inheritance, and tax planning. He assists families relocating to, living in, or investing in Italy and ensures the ownership of real estate and financial assets is structured in line with Italian and foreign legal frameworks. His work focuses on tax mitigation, multi-jurisdictional succession planning and generational wealth transfer. Piers also guides clients through residency, compliance, AML and administrative requirements, ensuring a smooth legal transition when establishing a presence in Italy.

Piers is qualified as a Solicitor of England & Wales and the Republic of Ireland, is an Avvocato Stabilito in Italy, and is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Ian is a Chartered Tax Adviser with nearly 50 years of professional experience, specialising in UK taxation for internationally mobile individuals and companies, particularly those with connections to Italy. He advises on income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and corporate tax matters for clients with UK assets or exposure to dual-jurisdiction taxation.

Ian is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), the UK’s leading professional body for tax specialists, and a Fellow of the Association of Taxation Technicians.
